Andreas Wyss has been on the road as a professional bassist in Switzerland and abroad for 10 years – with acts such as Stiller Has, Linther, Damian & The Oscars, Liam Maye, iQuattro and many more. During this time, he has also recorded several studio albums where he can be heard as a bassist and multi-instrumentalist: an excerpt from this work can be found below. After a break during the pandemic, Andreas Wyss has now found his way back to the bass and is looking forward to continuing his work as a session or live musician.

In addition to the bass, Andreas Wyss also plays piano and guitar, piano even longer than bass. And the very first thing he learned to play was drums at the age of three. Today, he only plays the drums in secret when nobody is listening. At gigs and in the studio with Eli Wolff, he can be heard on guitar, piano and bass, as well as in other projects.

Andreas Wyss is a music educator (Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy) and teaches at a public school. He also teaches bass, music theory and producing as a freelancer.
